I think I'll go for -0.4%. The squeeze continues.0

Head on the block time:)
That is quarter two now just finished, we should get the GDP figures early next month.
I am going for -0.5%
And please Guys before you start sounding off, that number is what I suspect it COULD be and not what I want it to be.
Todays figure was about what I expected, and I think things are are picking up momentum now and will get worse. I really do not take any joy in being right, but this months -0.7% fall is on the back of £375 Billion QE plus five years of stimulus and bad debt forgiveness and holding off problem debts.
I am looking foward to the Olympic games and if that kicks off something, Great!!, but it won't.
When I started this thread I said GDP would be bad, at the end of last year I said that 2012 I said we would go back into recession and we have done.
Well today I think things have got worse since the last quarter even though we are only a month into the 3rd quarter, we might get a blip from the Olympics.
I am just waiting for all the oposition front bench MP's to start gibbering about a plan B, there really is no plan B C D.... XYZ, there is pain coming whatever they do, I just hope that the rich Tories spread the pain so they are not just looking after their rich buddies, unlikely though.
And after all that we still have not had a conclusion to the Euro yet.
Anyway the sun is out, the Olympics are about to start and I have a fridge full of food and cold beer, it is not all bad:)0 -

I would like to point out that my prediction was closest.
0% plus or minus a bit has been correct for some time now and it'll be correct next quarter too.0 -
rubbish, mine was the closest.0

I think my final revision will be the closest (unfortunately )'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0
