Look what I found when idly Googling for some info on the BPA; it's last year's AGM Calling Paper where they voted for membership of the 'Executive Council':
http://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/BPA/Nominations%20booklet%20and%20call%20to%20AGM%202011.pdf
Don't you just LOVE those mugshots and election statements! :rotfl:
What about Gary Osner, who is Steve Dargonne's mate from Roxburghe:
''As Managing Director of an award winning debt collection agency''
...failing to mention that the only 'awards' came from his mates at the BPA!
:T
Anyhoo, I then searched and found that this week heralds the 2012 AGM:
http://www.britishparking.co.uk/Events/BPA-AGM-2012/5696
and here are the current runners and riders for that 'Executive Council' which includes a load of bailiffs this time:

Wouldn't we all just LOVE to be a fly on the wall this year?!

This sounds 'worrying' !
Maybe we should either all turn up en masse to the AGM (we obviously wouldn't be let in), or all e-mail our apologies !!!!!I would like to help the BPA to continue develop its Master Plans for England, Wales and ScotlandThank you for reading this message.0 -
I'm now wondering if Patrick Troy has a 'Ming The Merciless' costume hidden in his wardrobe.Je Suis Cecil.0

The new BPA chairman has been elected.
You have overstayed 20 minutes and now have to pay.............................................1 MILLION DOLLARS!!
Hahahahahahaha...........!0 -
I have a back problem, do u think if I attend and pretend to be a PPC or debt collector, that might slap it for me0
-
On a more serious point. How is it many council employees want to sit on the BPA board? Is this not a conflict of interests?0

They are experts at auto-rejection of appeals. Maybe that expertise will come in handy once they have an independent (ha ha!) appeals process set up.Je Suis Cecil.0

I guess the question about dietary requirements is to ensure they stock up on enough pies :rotfl:0 -

And bananas for the monkeys that run the "appeals" process:-
They keep a monkey at their office, who has been trained to open letters and, although it cannot actually read them, to immediately press a designated character on a keyboard (perhaps marked with a banana symbol) which then produces a letter of reply.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Well I have it on good authority that Vlad The Impaler has just sent his apologies as he "still has some standards"

Jamie Waller's manifesto would have benefited from being proof read before submission, grammar does not seem to be his forte.0
