James Bond: For real 23 mins

Bond girls are forever. 3 clips totaling 13 mins

And thats it, no trailer/deleted scenes/out takes etc.

The main disc is just the film.


I'm not complaining, £7 isnt bad for a DVD but to market this as a "2 disc collectors edition" is stretching things a bit, those extras could have gone on the main disc.

Now I have no doubt there will be another release in a couple of months.

Having missed out earlier in the week, I was down at Asda this morning and they had just received another load of boxes in and were unpacking them at the time. Apparently most Asda stores were expecting further deliveries in time for the weekend.

Just got my copy to go with my Bluray and region 3 versions!

To clarify it was £7 for the 2 disk collectors edition

It is the 2006 version of Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig as Bond.

The region 2 DVD that is on sale in the UK has been slightly cut to make the torture scene slightly shorter, it has not been cut out altogether and is still pretty full on, and although it is not at all gory, the implied violence is still there. It was cut to ensure a 12 certificate.

Just been to get mine from my local and they were restocking the shelves as I arrived. They are being very strict about the one per customer policy.

My 9 year old was really keen to see this as she said all her classmates had been to the cinema to watch it, however, Mr Frizz and I agreed to watch it at the cinema first and then decide if it was suitable I am glad we did, because I found the torture scene very unpleasant to watch.

That's a pretty lame selection to call it a 'Special Edition', although I agree that £7 is a pretty good price even for just the film. There doesn't even seem to be any need for the 2nd disc, it's not like it has a DTS soundtrack to fill up disc 1

Unfortunately this doesn't surprise me at all and is just typical behaviour from movie studios/record companies who seem to think that we're all stupid, and that they will continue to get away with it (Eg. Thinking that winning a court case against CD Wow won't ultimately end up driving down their sales and increasing piracy :rolleyes: )
