Northridge car voluntary termination questions

Just about to hand back the Mazda 6 which was on a hpi agreement
The lady on the phone did the usual impact on credit rating stuff. She said when I vt'd i would need to take it to an auction house
1 how thorough are inspections. I have had a dent pulled out of the wheelarch, looks miles better but there is a tiny dent remaining
2 i have lost a key. Do i spend 280 quid on a remote fob or buy a cheaper one?
3 are windscreen chips on the pax side ok?
4 can they charge excess mileage (100k) on the car, they seem to think so but it wasnt an annual milage agreement
5 they werent fussed about service history - is this normal?
6 i am probably overstressing, but anyone with northridge experience would be appreciated
7 has anyone negotiated the settlement figure down? A 58 plate mazda 6 with 100k on the clock may not fetch more than 4500 at auctiin, what if i offered 5k?
Sorry for the questions, hope someone can help!

As long as its in good condition overall and you have paid at least 50% then the only thing left is to contact them and see.
Maybe get a 2nd key that will open the doors even if it wont start the car?
Lot cheaper than a fully programmed key.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The Car sounds like a disaster area. I reckon the OP will get hammered on each and every point.
1. The car is dinged and a bodged repair done
2. The key is missing and they will charge you manufacturers price.
3. The screen is chipped
4. High mileage (I'd be interested in knowing how this will pan out)
5. No servicing0 -
If they take the average good private condition thats close to £7k according to parkers.
How much is left to pay on it? How long have you had it?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

had it 2.5 years. It was a year old when I bought it. I probably owe 7400 on it. But at 100k, I just know something is going to go on it.0 -
Maybe you need to be more sympathetic with it? Service it properly?
Mines got 160k now and i expect it to get to 200k without major issues.
200k now is like doing 60k or 70k in 70's and 80's cars.
Plenty of oil and filter changes and they do mega miles.
My old rover diesel had over 200,000 and i added a few more years worth of miles to that. Mostly holidays and towing a caravan. So not an easy life.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
