Bought Ford Focus three weeks of hell!

Hi,
I decided to buy a ford focus from a local dagenham ford motor dealer, i got what i thought was a good deal. 4 year old car, 34k on clock full service history warranty, mot ,tax etc.
3 days after getting the car the engine light went on, i called the guy and he said he would put me through to servicing who couldn't give me a courtesy car for a month, which to me was unacceptable having just bought the car, i asked the sales man three times to call me back and sort it out and he didn't, in the end i have been in three times, once they found the problem and had to get a part, the next day when i took it back in they found another problem and today it is in having the whole lot done. I feel i have had terrible service.
Not only that but when i picked up the car the guy told me the service book was still with hte previous owner and he was picking it up that week and would send it on. I haven't got this to date, apparently the prev owner has been on holiday, then the work was done at another garage then the book was lost and i am still waiting for a replacement.
Does anyone know what i should do i was waiting until the car was fixed ( and i could stop worrying about it) to write a stinking letter, but i still don't have any service history on my car.

Carli,
if the car has a full dealer service history then any authorised Ford dealer will be able to get a service book for you and re stamp it to give you a full servicer history.
I bought my car second hand from a volvo dealer with the service book missing and they got me a new one and completed the previous pages with details off the system.
As for the service, you need to make a note of the dealership and write to their headoffice, informing them of your issues. PM me if you would like more info on thisSealed Pot Challenge Member Number #19060 -
he has now told me that the servicing was done by an outside dealer. Surely i am entitled to a full service book, i shouldn't have to go and get it stamped by this other dealer.
Will PM you about info.

Return it. Get your money back. Not fit for purpose.0

If the car was advertised as FSH, which you state in your OP, then the car was mis-represented as it obviously has not got one. Take it back and get your money back. Any arguments get trading standards involved and also Ford.0

Common dealer trick . They say it has FSH and they "cant find the book at the moment" . Read it - it has noneNot only that but when i picked up the car the guy told me the service book was still with hte previous owner and he was picking it up that week and would send it on.
