Hey,

Im after a new bike. Preferably a road bike, so i can really get some miles under my belt. Im new to road bikes, but i frequent cyclist, generally suspension bike cos thats what i have got.

I have been looking at this bike.

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_840917_langId_-1_categoryId_165710

This is really my budget, around the £350 mark.

Is this a good bike?
Or could you suggest another bike around this price which would be good for me?

Thanks

Looks excellent value to me for a starter road bike. Gets good reviews too, and not just on the Halfords site.

Make sure you buy the right size frame. That is crucial.

It's gonna be a hell of a lot better than a suspension bike for road riding - you'll feel an enormous difference!

be aware it has an alloy fork.
means a lot of bumps and vibration through the front end.
If you have only run a suspended MTB before,it could be quite an eye opener for you.
