bedtime earplugs.

Has anyone any recommendations for earplugs specifically soft and comfy - and noise proof - for bedtime? Need some before I'm locked up for doing something I shouldn't have!!!!

Tesco are amongst the cheapest I have found and work well - I do shift work and live above 3 children, wouldn't be without them! You get about 6 pairs and a little tub to hold them in, are a white and green box and normally in the plasters etc section - don't get from their pharmacy as those are the expensive ones!

I buy the orange foam ones on ebay you get about 10 pairs for 99p, I prefer them to the harder ones that boots do

I bought Alpine Sleep Soft Earplugs & they are great. They are very comfy & you hardly notice your wearing them.

I have these, and they are pretty comfy and stay in all night (day) whereas cheapy sillicon onces itch and i pull them out.

They aren't complete noise blockers tho - they are designed so you can still here your alarm clock etc.

They work for me on night shifts (and if my BF is paticularly bad snoring)

Quies are good. You can buy them in tesco. They are the waxy type ones but boy did they block out the next door neighbour's constant parties that lasted all night!

Problem is with blocking sound out completely is it can be a bit too much. The alpine ones do the job well but without creating complete silence.

I personally find that the foam ones are too big and make your ears hurt in the morning after sleeping with them. Instead I use the disposable wax ones from Boots. I divide one earplug into two or four to fit into my ear. They're cheap and comfortable.

I've been wearing earplugs to sleep for 18 years now, can't sleep at all without them.
Over that time I've tried pretty much every brand on the market.
Quies were particularly useless for me, fell out every time I moved. The wax ones didn't work well, boots foam are expensive and not as good as other foam ones.
Anyway - I now buy these in bulk and am happy with them:

Everyone's ears are different so it may take you a while to find something that fits and is comfortable.

I have to wear earplugs every night, i cant bare any kind of noise whilst i sleep and i could sometimes quite happily smother my boyfriend when he starts snoring!

The best ones i have found are the boots muffles wax ear plugs, cant remember how much they are, i think around £3 a pack
