Juicybrains....

Is anyone else having problems with juicybrain?
I took part in their text messaging survey/quiz thing yesterday. I was told in advance that all texts were free.
This morning I get a text saying sorry, we charged everyone by mistake. Not only did they offer to pay less than the text messaging cost on my tarriff but they said they would be paying me in juicybrains points
They did so very kindly increase the payment to £2.00 so all my text money has been transferred into relatively useless brainjuicer points and they generously threw in 8p for the inconvenience
Now I know that If I get stuck in the city and need to phone my partner or my son phones me for help, knowing that I have £1.60 sitting online ready to be cashed in for a b****y amazon voucher, when I've got b**ger all credit on my phone and no money to replace it, will be so very comforting to me

Sounds like a rip-off verging on a scam to me."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I did this and they charged me as well although it worked in my favour. As it came out of my free texts that I get each month that I never use up anyway so I made £2.50 from it.
You should try emailing them to complain they might send you out a top up voucher or something0 -
Dear "Cedric",
I am disappointed.
I agreed to test some tea for you guys. I completed the screening survey and a few weeks later received my teabags. Yesterday the email arrived asking me to logon and complete a survey about my experiences. I clicked on the link within SIX HOURS of receiving it, only to be told the survey had closed.
I find it unbelievable that you couldn't even keep a survey open 24 hours after asking for responses.
I drank six cups of the most unbelievably VILE Tetley 'Super-T' in the belief I was going to earn some money to help make a nice Christmasfor my family. I didn't respond immediately because I was at work when the email arrived, I have to earn money somehow.
This behaviour exhibits a level of money pinching that beggars belief. I could understand if you didn't pay if we didn't test the product, didn't respond to the email within a reasonable time or didn't respond at all, but this is unbelievable. You'll happily take money off the client, but you expect testers to test their products for free.
I shall be posting this email on the site 'Moneysaving Expert.com'. I think you deserve a little negative publicity, as does Tetley as their tea left a metallic aftertaste which left me feeling ill.
sincerely,0
