Is this refurbished MacBook a good buy?

You'd be happy to buy from someone who claimed to have a warehouse which is, in fact, a pay as you go self storage unit? Really?

It's no small wonder why some people become victims, if you don't mind me saying.

Actually many modern businesses rent space within facilities like Big Yellow. If I have any doubts about a retailer, I always Google the company's name with keywords like 'Scam', 'Complaints' etc.

Maple Computers did not come up in any so far but does have some apparent good reviews & trust ratings for what they are worth.

On the topic of where the Hosting is registered: Mydomain now automatically offers it's customers a mail drop address at a fee, since putting a 'real' address on the domain registration seems to invite tons of snail mail and phone spam.

If you've had a bad experience with a company or have first hand knowledge of a problem with one, I can understand adding to MSE's collective wisdom by bringing it up here.

Otherwise, it might be bit unfair to diss a company because it new or operates on minimal overheads.

It's all about the honesty really, to describe it as 'our warehouse' is a tad misleading, don't you think? If you are prepared to mislead on something like this, do you think that makes them a good, sensible choice to spend a few hundred quid with?

In my opinion, I'd leave well alone. If it walks like a duck and all that. But I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
