How do I delete “fill in” options in Firefox and IE
Avoriaz

I don’t know the correct term for the “fill in” options so I will try and explain.
When I log onto sites such as my bank or credit card account, I have to fill in account details such as my name. Firefox usefully stores the options so, for example, as soon as I type “A” it brings up “Avoriaz” so I can click on that and not have to type the whole thing every time.
How do I delete those options that I have either mistakenly entered or no longer need.
For example, suppose I have mistyped “Avoriaz” as “Avoriax”. This means that when I type “A” I am presented with both options “Avoriaz” and “Avoriax”.
How do I delete “Avoriax” so that only “Avoriaz” is presented?
I presume the data is stored either in the Registry or a text file.
I use Firefox and IE so answers for both please.

Use the arrow keys to highlight Avoriax and press the delete key. Repeat for any other entries you want to delete. Also, instead of typing A to show the entries starting with 'A', press the down arrow to show all entries. Works in both IE and FF.For example, suppose I have mistyped “Avoriaz” as “Avoriax”. Thanks Chippy, you are a star.

It is embarrasingly simple. I'm ashamed I couldn't work that out for myself.

I did try something similar.
Honest.
