I can never seem to manage a complete NSD I do really try but I always end up buying a pint of milk or something. I can't actually remember the last real NSD I had, I came really close yesterday but ended up sponsoring Immoral Angel for her race for life (my mum died of cancer too so it felt the right thing to do).

I am going to hop on board, I really want to spend nothing for a week, my tesco shopping is due today so I am stocked up in food, there really is no excuse for any extra spending. You can keep me motivated and kick my a@@ if I spend a penny.

hows it gone with your first 'official' nsd. i did well again, got taken out for lunch by a friend.it was pre-planned but i cancelled earlier in the week. my friend insisted but i will repay the favour somtime after payday!
got to get through tomorrow (number 5) but i will need some diesel somtime over the weekend. not counting that though as its not a volentary spend! (need car for work!)
hope you did ok, otherwise i will be there with the big stick !!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Good luck :T

The first weeks are probably the hardest, i found smoking easier to give up:rotfl: Everyone says "yeah ok but its only spending blah blah blah" but its really ingrained in to our lives and we dont really realise it until we try to break the cycle.

:j i made it!!! 6th nsd!!! its amazing how little i really NEED! the the children out, took juice & snacks from home and they really didnt notice any difference :j
did put some diesel in the car but only put in a tenner, this will hopefully last until i get paid on wedensday.
still have about a fiver which i may spend tomorrow, that was the initial plan. then again this non-spending is getting a bit addictive so then again i may not.
if you had told me 6 months ago that i could go a week without spending a bean and a month spending less than a £150 on groceries i would have :rotfl:
but we are eating better than ever before and not really missing out on anything :D
