Didn't get to Whitby as the Regatta was on wingo but went every where else we meant to. It is DH's birthday not DD's. Hope your migraine has gone now.

Well I have thoroughly enjoyed watching a film all the way through on my own without any disturbance might even put another one on (although not sure i can stay awake for another)

Morning all,

Thanks for DH's birthday wishes wingo & fire**fly - will give him them when he wakes up. I miss getting up early to do comps when I'm on holiday. Smoke alarm woke me up last night,bleeping as battery must be running low. Glad it didn't do it while we were away as DS wouldn't have known what it was!
DD back to school today thank goodness. DS says he will cook dinner for us if we buy something but not sure what he has made. Will have to go and pick up DH's cake. It is just a cheap one bought direct from bakers but to make sure we got an orange one we ordered it. As we buy the cakes direct they only cost about £1.60 or so! They are lovely as well. We meant to pick it up on the way home yesterday but we had to divert because of an accident just 30 miles from home and call in to Dumfries to get DD a new Sim card as hers was playing up so we forgot.

Anyone notice the Captcha's have changed (at least on ITV), just putting in the one word like we used to no longer works, but you only seem to have to put a random character with it separated by a space to get it through.

Wingo no it wasn't a scary film :rotfl: - I watched Bruce Almighty with Jim Carrey. Seen it many times before but it's good for a giggle.

Sheils - happy birthday to your DH, hope you all have a nice day and your son makes you something tasty. Sure he will.

I am going to sit and write sone thank you cards this morning as I have finally remembered where i put the list of who sent what :rotfl: i was having a mad panic trying to think where it was as want to make sure I get it right as we were very touched by everyone's kindness.



Ohhh must text my dad he rang last night to ask me look something up and i forgot to let him know the answer
