    Hi everyone!

Well, here I am again and you know what that means! Yes, another 2 Times hourly competitions this weekend.

E: 11/08 9pm Win a meal at a Great British Chef's restaurant each hour with The Times

E: 12/08 9pm Win a Nokia Lumia 900 every hour with The Sunday Times

They must think we have nothing better to do.

I've had a great day today - had a day off work which is always good in itself, but did some clothes shopping and got some bargains, got free L'Oreal make-up remover wipes with the L'Oreal Insider monthly vouchers, had lunch out with my DH (using a 2for1 voucher) and then met a friend for coffee using the BOGOF Starbucks voucher. Do you think I might be taking this money-saving lark a bit too seriously?:rotfl:

While I was out I got a call to say I'd won a Kiss FM competition posted by Lakshmi - a Roberts Solar DAB Digital Radio, a portable charcoal kettle BBQ, a bottle of Lime Southern Comfort and a pair of Havaianas Unisex Rain Boots.

So all in all a great day.

It's sounds like lots of you have had good days too. Let's hope for nice weather and more wins for everyone tomorrow.
  • Thanks for the heads up Sue. I know what I will be doing on Sunday.

Wingo, we drove very close to Whitby today on the way to Scarborough. We didn't have fish and chips, but we did have an ice cream. I won a lolly on the 2p machines too (don't know how much I actually spent getting the lolly though)

Just came on to say that I got my DH all excited for probably no reason earlier. Im on the PC while he is on the xbox so neither of us are watching TV. I was on Twitter and I saw Bolt's 200m time and it was the exact time I guessed in a comp (you had to guess the gold medal winners times for mens 100m, 200m and 400m to win either ipad, ipod or itunes vouchers) shame I was quite far out on the 100m guess though. I was dead excited I got the time exactly right and just couldnt help shouting out. Is it still wrong Im excited that I was exactly right?
Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:

    Hey everyone.

Wanted to go out for a little wander into the village in my wheelchair today as, even though I'm still not that well, I'm going crazy being inside! However, DH had already taken the car back to his parents and the wheelchair is at their's (we don't have enough room to store it here) so that didn't happen. :( When we had our own car, we used to just keep it in the boot but because we're car-sharing we don't have anywhere to keep the wheelchair apart from either in MIL's car or at their house. :(

I got the code through in my email for the £50 Rubbersole voucher that I won earlier and treated DH to some boots with it. :D

Last to bed and first up again. Thouht the kids would beat me to getting up every morning but so far not.., must be the late nights :rotfl:

Can't believe its Friday already. Don't want to go back to work on Monday :( two and a half weeks has flown by.

Had a big heart to heart with best friend last night whilst we got some alone time. Like to malr sure he is doing ok after his hard time last year but difficult to chat properly with everyone around so we have trird make a bit of us time for chats :D its brilliant seeing him so much happier and relaxed than he was at end of last year.

Good Morning everyone. Hope the sun is shinning as brightly where you are as it is here.

Sheils I did smile when you posted your DD spent all your Rubbersole voucher and all you got was a pair of flip flops. Kids who'd have 'em?

Won a pair of Tresor Paris earings on facebook there are 500 a day to win but was still a suprise because I rarely win on this sort of comp.

Glad you are enjoying your stay in Bournemouth Becks when I was there years ago they had fireworks every night on the beach which was fabulous. Bournemouth and Poole are lovely.

Hope you feel better soon Lady M.
