No wins for me in the post but I did get three magazines! I got a freebie eye cream thing with my Glamour mag.

Well, Billy and Jenny (not very imaginative but his choice) are settled in to their new home and starting to make themselves at home. We stripped the pet shop (millet, cuttlefish, ball, mirror, ladder, grit and water bottle) and Dad is very happy with his new companions. He reckons he will try to teach them to talk, should keep him occupied anyway.

Glad your dad's budgies are making themselves at home Sue! I used to keep budgies in the past and enjoyed it but they can be messy and noisey. Has your dad got a cover to put over them at night to help keep them quiet? You really only get a budgie to speak if it is on its own as far as I know. The one I had as a teenager used to come all over the house with me, do tricks and could speak - couldn't fly very far though!

hope all is well,I am fine,didnt go to walking Group today because of the wet weather havent really done much besides going to my parents for lunch.Came home and now relaxing for the rest of the day.Glad your Dads Budgies have settled in Sue nice company for him

He'll enjoy talking to them, even if they never speak. Covering them is the one thing that is going to be a problem as far as I can see. The cage is too high for Dad to do it from his wheelchair so it would have to be the evening carer that did it and she leaves at 5:30, that's a bit early isn't it?

One is the usual blue budgie, the other looks grey but has a yellowish tinge to it. I'll get a piccy next time I'm up there. I just rang and they were chirruping away in the background.
