  • ooh yes the times comp, totally forgot aggghhhh

    Well best get to it.

Having problems with the internet ATM and are lucky to get a speed above 0.1mbs so comping is sloooooowwwwwww.

Definately going to look at postal comps when I get some postcards and stamps that is.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

Good luck everyone hope you all have a good weekend.

Do hope your eye is getting better fire**fly.

    Enjoy your party Becks.

Hope you manage to do all your washing sheils and get it dry. My sons were great at producing washing just when I thought it was all done and put away.

Hope the inns winning streak continues. I had a book "Chocolate Shoes and Wedding Blues" signed by the author Trisha Ashley this morning. No slip enclosed so not a clue where it came from. Have searched but can not find it at all.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Hi everyone

Firstly, must let you know that there's yet another Times hourly comp tomorrow (Sunday) for a luxury two-night break at a Mr&Mrs Smith boutique hotel - will definitely be entering myself.

Have done a few entries in today's one for the Blackberry, but then had to go out to get my hair cut so missed a couple and have loads of book reviews to do for the rest of the day so may not do many more entries.

I've now stopped applying for the Waterstones FB books as I'm really not keeping up with the reviews at the moment plus have had several from Real Readers and one from Virago that I have to review so need a cooling off space so I can catch up. I've had 120 books so far in 2012 - a combination of wins, review copies and freebies.

I've had a good August as I won a Coca-cola coolbag, two posh folders, bag of Walkers crisps, Rice Krispie squares and a hardback book.

I'm not at all a sports fan so am getting a bit fed up with wall to wall sport on the TV - DH is very into it, plus has been watching the England cricket and Spurs pre-seaon matches. He's out today playing cricket himself so I'm planning a book-reviewing, comping, watching Hugh Jackman in Wolverine and eating chocolate day.

Don't know if these guys want to watch the Olympics or just want feeding:

Love the pic SueMaggie! Have been entering the Blackberry Comp every hour today but won't manage many if any tomorrow. Thanks for keeping us informed and good Luck with it. DH and I are not sports fans so TV has hardly been on all week! Just been out for a lovely walk in the sunshine - really hot just now.

    EPIC!!

I just saved us £200 off our car insurance:j:j:j.

Our old insurer wanted £545 for the year :rotfl:, that is more than the car is worth lol AND we have nine years no claims discount as well.

Phoned them and they wouldn't budge so in true MSE style I went onto a well known comparison site (never done that before and it was a little bit EEKK) and ten seconds later we are insured on a better policy that is which? recommended and £200 cheaper!!!

If I had known it was that easy I would have done it sooner:rotfl:.

So Mr Man from the Pru you can just Foxtrot Oscar with your extravagant insurance premiums. I for one will not by "paying for all the false claims that are being made".
