I can't believe I've spent 2 hours this afternoon following links on Facebook, it's fatal! I've watched Military Homecomings, Flashmob proposals and pets greeting homecoming owners, I've sat here with tears pouring down my cheeks, I'm a WRECK! (Did enjoy it though)

Hope all is well,I am fine today went to have coffee out with two friends as the walking group wasnt on today so had our own walk

Seeing my other friends tonight so just had a nice bath and washed my hair as needed doing.Gosh Dinx you would also have thought the drivers would look as well wouldnt you or at least say something to him,I am lucky as to have my bus pass automatically sent to me in the post each year.

I have my course tomorrow afternoon so that will be good.

I had a lovely day - we visited a nearby castle which you get to by little ferry. Then we went to the viewing point for the Ospreys which was lovely - couldn't see the chicks but saw the mother feeding them. We had a nice little picnic and had a good look at some baby swallows being fed by their mother. Just felt like we were on holiday and free as we are members of English Heritage which lets us into Historic Scotland. Had to go shopping after that but never mind. The sun has gone now though and it has started to rain.

I got my final win of the month, a book from a womans weekly fb comp! :j
Not really been anywhere today except take jasper a walk. There's a Rottweiler round the corner that really doesn't like jasper or the kids. A few times I've passed and it's almost jumped over the wall snarling! Not gonna walk near there again.

Dinx my eldest DD is exactly the same and she's not a teenager yet! She forgets to hand in letters, homework, the time.....she is a nightmare if I need to be somewhere! She gets up at 6.30 some mornings and could still be late for school which takes all of ten mins to get there!

No final win today for me but I won 4 pints of milk on the asda text comp yesterday, that's 15 wins for July for me.

Not a win as such, but I entered a Facebook comp where you had to write a review in 100 words max. They announced the winner and when I read their review it was way longer. I sent them a DM rather than writing on their wall, just saying how disappointed I was and they replied today apologising saying it was a genuine error and for bringing it to their attention they would send me the prize as well. Just a beach bag, but it was the principle. My Daughter said she always knew I could win prizes for whinging.

Thats nice of them Sue. Sometimes comps like that annoy me. Its like effort comps that say their favpurite answer wins and you put hard work into writing to stand out and when you read the winning post you wonder if anyone did actually read the entries :rotfl:
