It does make you think though. Something as seemingly minor as a yeast infection and it has cost £78. If we got another dog we could potentially have that cost twice over and with me no longer working and DH now being past 65, he's not going to want to work forever, so would it be sensible to take on that extra financial commitment? We have insurance, but even that has a £50 excess.

My mum's Labrador has loads of skin problems too Sue. He is always at the vets and although he is insured it still costs loads.

The weird thing is that for a few days now I keep getting a 'whiff' of a smell that is a bit like when you have baked something and left it in the oven for a little too long and my Daughter said at the weekend that she'd never known a dog have smelly feet like his. I suppose now that makes sense.

*yawn* can't seem to stop tonight. Weekend must be catching up on me.

I have had the most amazing time though and everyone has been so kind. We are really moved by everyone's lovely thoughts and wishes.

Another late night from me again! really enjoying watching the Olympics, especially the gymnastics and mens swimming! :drool: (those hunks in trunks! ) we were robbed of the silver medal from moaning Japan! I did feel sorry for Ukraine though.

Hope Cooper recovers soon from his skin condition Sue. Xx

Last chance for July prizes!
Looking quite nice here today but really fed up of all the showers that seem to appear out of the blue or rather the big black clouds.
Have picked my wellies - Hunter flowery ones! Sounds like there is a back log so not expecting them for a while.
