Hi All
Need to paint a few rooms (including ceilings) and considering buying a paint sprayer.
Does anyone have any experience of & advice on using them and any recommendations please?
Thanks

Recommendation: don't buy one.
You have to mask everything up that you don't want to paint. And that will take ages. By the time you have masked uop half the room, you could have painted most of it with a roller and brush.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
I find they're messy and any time you'd save in faster coverage you'd have to spend in masking off areas you don't want to paint. Also there can be a lot of cleaning up the sprayer at the end, plus the extra cost from buying the equipment.
For quick good quality results on large areas like walls and ceilings, I prefer paint pads to anything else I've tried. They're neither new or particularly expensive, but oddly enough many people have never tried them.0 -

i have to agree with the above , if you want a sprayer you will need to buy a decent one which will cost a lot , buy a decent roller and some brushes , may set you back £30 but will last ages if you look after them0
