fitting new suite in shower room.

having an absolute nightmare trying to get someone to fit a new suite to replace my existing ensuite. had 3 plumbers over who i just never heard back from, even tried rated people where they have to pay for the lead, both arranged appointments and never even turned up!
so what i'm wondering is........can we attempt to diy this?
things we've done before - installed kitchen, tiling, laying laminate/vinyl, polyfilling large holes etc. fairly basic stuff
We need to replace a toilet, sink and shower tray with screen (all in the same place), and an electric shower (with the same voltage shower), and do the tiling and change the flooring.
Reasonably confident about the tiling, flooring and the shower door. Could a reasonable diyer attempt to fit a the plumbing things?
Appreciate your thoughts!

If you identify where you are, someone maybe able to suggest a tradesman.

If you are not moving location of the toilet etc, i would definitely have a go yourself.

There may be a bit of issue with different entry points for water into the toilet/sink/shower but nothing you can't overcome.

If you are going to attempt it yourself it is possible to do if you are confident and a compitent DIYer. As I do this for a living, I will be able to answer any questions you might have if you want to pm me.
Remember not to panic if things go awry. make sure the water is off at all times including the rip out stage (just in case).
    Good luck.

I would laso suggest that as you disconnect the old water supplies (with the water turned off and hot water drained down) you add in line isolating valves to the basin water feeds, cold water feed to cistern.

You can also do this for the shower feed if layout permits or at least fit a stop end temporarily.

If you have difficulty realigning the pipework at least you can turn off the supplies locally rather than turning the water off to the house all the time.Helps if you cannot get all the work completed in a timely manner.

It will also help if doing any maintenance later.

Don't forget to replace the fibre washer when you reconnect the new cistern inlet valve.
