Quick APR question

Hi,

I've had a good look around the site and on the forums but can't find an answer to my question. I'd be grateful if someone could help with this quickie.

I've just received a new IF card which was taken out primarily for the low life of balance transfer rate. It has a high standard APR so I don't intend to spend on it. However, it does have a 0% interest introductory offer for the first 8 months (or maybe 6 - can't remember).

My question is, if I spend on this card now will I start paying the standard APR on these purchases after the 8 months are up or will I enjoy 0% for the life of the purchase balance?

Thanks in advance,

James
