Hi,
Can anyone advise whats the best way to save for kids university education? I have 14 years more to go . I read many articles and looks like I have to save from now on to accumulate a decent amount.
Thanks K

You could regard your ISAs as your "university savings pot" and save as much as you can.
Are you saving for your child in a CTF as well?0 -
I'm not really sure how you can plan 14years ahead, who knows how funding/universities will work by then.
Assuming a 3 year course at 9k a year and the same in living costs, 54k, this will of increased to double with inflation over the next 14years(maybe thats conservative), but 108k is the target to cover the cost.
I'd say you just have to save what you can and see the pot of money grow slowly and when the time comes you can decide what the best action to take at the time. Whos to say your child will choose to go to university or achieve the standards how ever higher or low they will be set at in 2026.
Otherwise you will have to have ambitious targets and make some higher risk investments to beat them.
Cash can only lose its value over the next decade in my opinion, that if we even have sterling in 10-15 years time.0
