Flights to Sharm El Sheikh- expensive!

Looking to go to Sharm El Sheikh leaving any London airport in October or November. I am really flexible on dates and did a quick search with Skyscanner, Kayak etc and the cheapest on a budget charter airline is coming up at £300+ per person! Then you have to add on baggage etc and it starts to get expensive.

Since when did flights to Sharm get so expensive? Or is this the norm now?

Egypt has got very expensive now, people have discovered how great it is, you may find it cheaper to book a holiday rather the flight+hotel

Lots of airlines cut services in 2011 when there was the trouble. Supply and demmand- therecare niw not enough flights. £300 is a bargain! We looked across year at school hols and it was closer to £600 each

I'm seeing flights with easyJet in November for about £200 return.Considering it's almost a 6 hour flight that doesn't sound expensive to me.

I've been looking on teletextholidays.co.uk & they're coming up at around £350 14 nights AI. Not sure if transfers & baggage need to be added on later. I usually print off the holiday & take it to Tom Cook & ask them to beat it.
