Hi, would anyone have a Kinetico water softener that can comment good or bad? I need to replace my old Waterside machine and one has been offered as an x display. They seem expensive but if they are worth it ??

We have a Kinetico water softener and can recommend it. They are quite pricey, but ours does the job and has done for about 8 years.0

My Kinetico was installed in 1985 and is still going strong.
Check that the new softener has the correct metering disc fitted for the hardness of your water - they are colour coded
Your water company will tell you the hardness for your postcode.0 -
Thankyou guys, it sounds like these are the ones to go for. I was going to get the Waterside repaired but, with its age at 13 yrs, I don't think it will go much longer anyway. David, yours from 1985 is a fantastic result, hope mine will live as long!0
