Each to her own I suppose but I giggled my way through the unrealistic sex scenes in book one and won't be reading the other two. I know loads of people who love the books and loads who can't get a copy anywhere so this is helpful.0

I loved the books, just finished reading them today. They many not be everyones cup of tea but no ones being forced to read it.
I came up with an idea for a little came with then books, get some friends round (or do it on your own if having a night in) and each pick once thing from the following list and when it happens in the book have a drink, and see who gets drunk first lol
1. Christian cocks his head
2. Ana bites her lip
3. Ana blushes
4. Ana rolls her eyes
5. They have a glass of wine/champagneS.P.C member 1662 - target £3000 -
I read all three in a week and think the 2nd and 3rd are the better books as that's when the story is revealed.
First book annoyed the hell out of me, lol, but worth a read.
A bit repetitive yes, but considering the woman who wrote them is not an author and it started as fan fiction for Twilight, it's understandable why it's written the way it is
Worth wasting a few hours on0 -

Pahh too much like hard work trying to get through the first book. I love a good book but just do not understand all the hype around this one! The charity shop idea seems a good one to me because I know a few people who bought this and just can't actually get into it at all!:j Addicted to money saving0 -
Thanks, I am going to wait until I see them at car boot sales as books that are big sellers usually appear for around 50p

You see I *want* to read it because everyone else is - however, having read a few pages on Amazon last night, I just felt like I wanted to punch her for being so bloody stupid!! And she 'speaks' as though she is 12.
I'd give that 'inner self' a punch as well!!
Does anyone know anything about the author - does it say in the book? I think she has been watching too many !!!!!! films and wanted to write one of her own but did not know enough descriptive words for anything, LOL.
However, I would like to know in Chapter 8 just what the doctor did in the room down there, please.
I really cannot be bothered to buy the book just to find that out. 0 -
