A reasonable parking warden

I nipped to Camberley today and parked in some free limited time spaces that I often use along a row of shops.
I pulled into one space, but a workman came out and said they were just expecting a truck, so I said I'd move, and fortunately there was another space along the road.
I went into a music shop, but I didn't get anything, and then I went into a hi-fi shop that is closing down and had a look through the offers and ended up buying a cable (and they chucked in a couple of CDs I wanted for free).
When I came out (I'd probably been 15 minutes), I spotted a parking warden near my car, taking pictures and things of another car and the road.
So I went up to him and asked how long I had left on my car, and he told me that he hadn't noted I was there yet, so I'd have a good 30 minutes. Great I said because I wanted to nip to the town shops as well.
So I went and did what I wanted (probably 25 minutes) and returned to my car and got on with my day.
The parking warden was reasonable, and pleasant, and I got to do what I'd wanted.
