19.3.07 what small dfw thing will you do/have you done today?

Welcome, fellow DFWers, to a brand new week.

Let us all know what small steps you are taking on your road to becoming debt free.

Although the big things make a difference, such as reclaiming bank charges or switching our electricity supplier etc, we cannot do these things every day, and it is the smaller things that are habit forming and become the basis of a successful DFW life.

So, today I have:

- sent the children off to school with packed lunches

I will be:

- making a meal plan for the next fortnight
- making a shopping list and sticking to it at the supermarket tonight
- aiming for a NSD apart from the supermarket shop
- putting an extra jumper on instead of turning the heating up to get through this cold snap.

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning hypno, here we are the start of another week.

Have got the morning off work today (got to meet with headmaster and local bunky officer, DS decides he doesn't need to go to maths!!!!!). So its lunch at home instead of the canteen.

Going to phone the Tax Credits and Child Benefit to arrange to have my benefits paid into my new Abbey Account.

Still not received my reclaimed charges money in my Halifax Account - was hoping to pay off my Next Card - hopefully tomorrow!!

So I'm really hoping for a NSD today, fingers xd.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Well my DFW activities are very small.... considering as of Saturday 17th March, I am personally debt free :D

Well... i have a joint mortgage with OH but we havent started paying that yet, as the house hasnt been built yet, so once it does ill be zooming over to the mortgage free boards.

Just got to clear OH's eggy card and overdraft which is really attainable. I have given him around 1/2 his outstanding balance on his eggy card and hes just started a new job with more money a month so it will only take a few months of throwing our money at his card and OD and we will both be 100% debt free.

    woooo

We celebrated with a kebab on Saturday night... shame on us ;)

EDIT : Also forgot... must go and draw out my £20 a week pocket money and then remember to leave my bank card at home. Hoping to stick to my £20 a bit better this week.
