We are going on a family holiday to Salou later this summer, 2 adults and 2 under 5s. As we only have a week we want to make the most of our time there. We plan to go to a waterpark but are not sure whether Costa Caribe (Portaventura) or Aquapolis would be best? Has anybody been and which would you recommend? What else would you recommend we do while we're there? We plan to go to Portaventura and Barcelona.
Thanks in advance

It,s probably around 5 years ago, we went to Salou, if i am not mistaken think we had discount tickets for caribe or maybe even free with going to portaventura, make sure you stay till the very end of the day at portaventura, as it had the most amazing fireworks/lazer show.0

We went to Salou 3 years running, and preferred aquapolis. Remember that Port Aventura will be very busy at the weekends with spanish teenagers, and as suggested dont forget to go at night!RIP Iain

We stayed near salou last year and i can highly recommend aquapolis waterpark. Plenty of really good slides,a massive splash pool and a big pool area for the little ones. Wish i was there now lol!!!0

Aquapolis is fantastic - just make sure you take plenty of sun lotion! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
