Paying for a holiday

Options
I have paid the deposit for my holiday by debit card, now the balance is due and they want £72 if I pay by credit card. My question is can I pay a small amount by credit card and the rest by debit card and still be covered by the insurance?

I assume you are referring to the consumer protection provided if you pay by credit card? As i understand it, you get that protection as long as you pay at least £100 of the holiday cost by credit card. I am not sure what the £72 is. Is it a % fee for using a credit card?

You can pay 1p by CC as long as the purchase is £100 or more.

I don't think they'll allow you to pay the balance by both DC and CC. The time to do that was when you paid the deposit, and then you would have paid the balance by DC.

    Is it a package holiday?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
