I have found my payments exactly every four weeks but not the one due yesterday and still not there this morning. I wonder if the recent NatWest problems have cause delays?

I don't think payment are made over weekends so I guess I need to call the DWP on Monday.

Anyone else found a problems and how late was their payment?

My wife's DLA constantly moves by the odd day or two when the payments arrive.

Hi Oliver I've only been on it for a few months and so assumed (oops wrong of me) that it would be on the dot. Thanks for reassuring me and I will just wait and see when it gets in.
  • Hi my daughters DLA was late this week it was due on Tuesday and hadn't arrived. I have been to the cash machine this morning and although my balance states a low amount I actually have a higher amount available to spend. the difference between the two amounts ls around the amount of her dla along with my carers and tax credits put together but both carers and tax credits aint due till Monday. I am suspecting that the issues with the banks lately will have something to do with it as my payments are normally always on time apart from bank holidays. I bank with Barclays though and have not heard of issues with there system so guessing again the issues are with whoever the dwp bank with??????

Just to add even though my wife's DLA moves a bit it was quite a bit off to the expected date (at least 4 days). I did ring the DWP who did admit there have been a few delays due the the RBS/Nat west fiasco.

Have been on DLA since 2002 and have found they are the only DWP dept who have always paid me on the right day or early xmas etc never had a late payment from them.
  • I have to agree Richard. I was worried, but I checked yesterday & there it was, as normal. :)

Ditto regarding payments, never been late with a payment - I am paid monthly.
