I've been bombarded with Natwest 'the text alerts service is unavailable at this time' messages.
Without wanting to seem stupid here, I'm not a Natwest customer any longer, and don't want to be updated regularly as to what's going on within the bank.
Just phoned them to ask, and been told the 'we can't verify your information' !!!!, after being told to phone them in branch yesterday!
Any ideas?
CK

Yes they are having a few technical problems. You may have heard it on the news. Does not help you though :-(0

Write to them giving them your old bank details or visit a branch with some ID..
OR if you have other accounts with them follow that root instead..Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

I know, we've got the NW taxi contract for the branch, with a freephone inside the branch. I've spent 2 days on control and 2 days driving this week, so know all about it!
Just spoken to a chap who's stated that although it's noted I specifically asked them to, the number hasn't been taken from the system = breach of DPA! He's escalated accordingly without prompting. Having dates/times in diary helps! ('Sorry, just going to put you on speaker so I can look through my iPhone' over and over again)
Hopefully this'll be the end of it!
