ah but here is the real snag to it all, it doesn;t count the other way round.

When I was being treated unfairly as the only english I spoke to a solicitor and she told me you have to be in the minority to get anywhere with a racism claim.

    How were you treated unfairly?

How does that make it ok for you to be racist?

    Im not racist.

I was always given the jobs people didn't want and eas the one always told off. A prime example of this is when a phillapeno also worked there for a short time..... she came 5 minutes "late" start time is 8 but needed to be their for 10 to she came at 5 to she got a mouthful. One of the indians walked in at 20 past and it was "oh it's ok my dear don't let it happen again".

They could be as slow as they wanted but i got 5 minutes behind and i got the "if you don't wanna go to our pace you know where the door is"

    Im of Asian origin myself...
For 25yrs of my life I was registered with the same doctor lovely white lady doctor, however since I've moved to a different city 4 years ago..I've changed my GP about 4 times (honestly) for the 1st 6 months I used to drive 2 hours to my previous doctors..however when I became pregnant my MW literally forced me to join a local GP....All the GP's in my catchment area speak little english and I find it very frustrating not only when they don't understand what I'm saying but when I can't understand what they are saying....It really annoys me..

I have not got a problem with Medical professionals of ethnic minorities, however I think it would be very beneficial if they had to take a written/verbal english test to a mainstream UK level before being signed off. ..The good thing is it saves on interpreters as in Highly ethnic minority societies it is an excellent skill to be a bi-lingual of a high profession.

I only go to my doctors in absolute emergencies now....or I prefer to go to the NHS walk in centre,
I once had a heath visitor visit me after ds2 was born ...This sounds really bad, but in the nicest way possible I had to ask her to leave as she didn't have a clue as to what I was saying and I peeped over to read the notes she wrote...almost everything was wrong which I told her and made her scribble lots of bits out.

After I had my other children and got a call telling me that this HV was visiting I've always had to ask them to send somebody else.

I'm not racist and I'm not stereotyping just facts based on my personal experience.

BTW OP good luck with everything and try your local learndirect centre or visit https://www.learndirect.co.uk.

I doubt that person_one the number of indian nurses around who can't even speak basic english is disgraceful.

I mean really bad if they were asking something, say for example "Can you go and get george up from bed, but only him for now" they would say "Can you go get the george up from bed only".

The, making it sounds like their !!!!in objects. The amount of times in my last place i had to keep repeating and they didn't understand is disgraceful

    Or

when we where doing rounds getting the residents up etc. Theyn used to say everything is up or nothing left to put in bed

    Were;).......
