NatWest MasterCard-locked PIN-ATM Reset Possible?

Hello fellow MSE's,
I've rather stupidly blocked my NatWest MasterCard and attempted to unlock the PIN at a Tesco ATM.
However it says the transaction was refused and to contact the issuing bank.
There's an option on the Online Servicing department to be sent a PIN reminder but as I can now remember the number is there anything I can do to avoid wasting people's time and paperwork?
Thanks for your help everyone x

I'd considered that, but I was none too sure after it not working at Tesco (seeing as Tesco used to be in cahoots with NatWest & RBS for banking.)0 -
With some card companies you have to call the issuer who unblocks it on their end, then you need to go an ATM and unblock it. You used to have to do this with American Express (Was changed last year).0

It depends heavily on the implementation and the bank, I know with Lloyds you can unblock the PIN counter at their ATM's only which I imagine is typical at every bank as they need to provide it a code to unlock the card. Of course some banks will let you unblock it at their ATM's whereas in others you'll get it swallowed, although the fact the Tesco ATM returned the card is a good sign it would have contacted Natwest to check if the card needs to be retained.0
