Fitting a Banister & spindles and supplying/hanging doors

HI, was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what a fair price would be for a handyman to fit a standard Banister? Husband took down the original one ages ago and I am fed up of waiting for him to go and get the parts and replace it. (LOL)
I believe that the parts should come to under £100 from somewhere like Wickes.
Also I am looking to have someone replace our interior doors and the door frames and was wondering how much this is likely to cost. We have 12 doors in total but the 6 downstairs are 33 inches wide.
thanks
Jules

First things first - if you get a 'handyman' to do the work, it will be a lot cheaper, but you will get the work done to a 'handyman' standard.
If you want the work done to a professional standard, get a joiner. The best thing to do is go through your local ad mag to get someone. Get 2 to 3 quotes and compare. Ask him if he has customer recommendations.
Cant give you a price for the spindles without the sizes, but doors should be somewhere between £35 - £50 each to hang. The price of the actual doors will depend on the quality that you want. You can pay anything for an internal door from £15 to £150.
