Hi, sold 4 things on eBay tonight to the same buyer. They've paid and i've had a message asking if I can ship to their german address (English address on PayPal).
What should I do? Will I be covered if I ship to an address other than there PayPal one?
Thanks

You will not be covered if you send to an address other than the registered paypal address, assuming you are happy to ship to Germany and the buyer is willing to pay more postage to cover sending to Germany, offer to refund their payment so that they can go back and amend the address in their paypal account to the German address, then submit a new invoice with any relevant postage amendments, then you will be covered.0 -
Thanks dirt poor guy. I don't mind shipping to germany if they ask first, but they didn't and my listing say I don't ship internationally.0

Then personally I would say sorry but no, they may be trying to scam you by getting around your block on international postage, if they then said the item had not arrived you would have been stuffed.
If you go ahead with this transaction add the cost of international recorded delivery.0 -
Take a read of the sticky postage thread on this forum, it explains what you need to do to have seller protection. As dirt guy says, unless you use the address given by PayPal you have no protection at allI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks guys, I've emailed the buyer and told then this. They do look legit (100% positive) but there's no way I'd risk it as it's about £70 worth of stuff.0

They may well be honest and legit but I wouldn't take that risk either for £70.
If they are legit they should have absolutely no problem adding the required address to Paypal and repaying with the additional charges.
If they refuse to do that then walk away.0
