KGB Deal Gone Wrong?

Just 2 days ago I purchased a KGB Deal, the deal was for a night away for 4 to Butlins at Skegness for three nights with the selling factor being that there would be a Britains got Talent show on including Ashley & Pudsey.
So I booked!
The kids were all excited... Until today that is...
When I received an email from Butlins saying that Ashley & Pudsey have cancelled, and been replaced with Spellbound.
Not being funny, but cant help thinking that they have done this as a trap, advertise it, and then its cancelled.
Wouldnt want to cancel the whole trip but its was the deciding factor on us going, do you think there is any chance of some upgrade, compo ect here?
Wouldnt be so bothered if its not really upset the kids

Acts are subject to change at any time, just as if you went to see BGT on the arena tour (if they still do one?) - no big conspiracy theory.0

No need to take the mick... But anyway, they will, but I see it as its the point, surely it cant be a concidence they have advertised it on KGB sold a couple more places and waited until then to tell us about the change.
Theres a number at the end of the email saying We're sure that you'll enjoy watching Spelbound as much as Ashleigh and Pudsey but if you would like to discuss your break with us, please give us a call...

Why couldn't it? And though I have no idea who "Ashley and Pudsey" or "Spellbound" are - does it really make an enormous difference PR wise? I hardly think Butlins would bother doing that for a few extra pounds. Particularly as the BGT arena tour seems to have been cancelled this year because they don't think people would pay for it!
That last line probably means they'll let you cancel or change the date - I'd be shocked if there is anything in it for you.0 -

Ashley and Pudsey have been cancelling a lot of appearances as Pudsey has been getting stressed out and ill due to the lack of routine. Spellbound also won BGT, so the acts are of comparable standards, I don't see a problem. It's not Butlins' fault the act cancelled, they have gotten a suitable replacement act and notified all those affected in plenty of time.Started 30/08/2011Biggest Wins: GHD's, 5* Trip to London, VIP Trip to Isle of MTV Festival in Malta.

Pudsey has been getting stressed out and ill due to the lack of routine.
