central heating problem

Hi All,just come back of holiday and we always turn the boiler off,turned the boiler back on ,ignited but the radiators are not getting hot,any ideas ??Thanks for any advice

    Thermostat set too low (holiday setting perhaps)?

    I'd go with seized pump aswell.

    If the boiler fired up, it can't be that the room thermostat setting is too low.

    Siezed pump or valve? Does the boiler heat the water? If so, it's probably not the pump.

    As my trusty crystal ball is away for service, perhaps you would be so kind as to tell us make and model of the boiler etc.

    Any of the above, like someone said crystal balls probably cant diagnose either, a problem can only be diagnosed by systematic testing of the installation that exists!

    Morning All,
    Thanks for your comments,i thought i would post an update,plumber came yesterday and the boiler is a Gloworm and the problem was a sticking fan,squirt of WD40 and it was all systems go

    The fan wont last much longer with just WD40, it will dry out again.

    Need to use LA-CO oil or even better FAN LUBE. Have got fans that were completely seized going again to the point they were silent.
