Made a stupid mistake this evening!! Was cooking a gratin for the GF and I, but when I put it in the oven, it somehow slid right to the back, so I pulled the shelf forward to bring the dish back to the front, however, it slid back even further and off the back of the shelf spilling all the food down the back of the over and appears to have gone in the grill where the fan is
I've tried cleaning the oven, but still when you turn it on after a minute or so smoke starts coming out, which leads me to believe that there's food in the grill under the fan, which we can't get to and when the oven is turned on its just burning it!!
This is the oven we have, question is, will this cost a lot to get put right as I don't think we would be covered under the warrenty!!!

WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP PEOPLE!!!

Turn off the power Remove the oven from the cabnet this is done by removing 4 screws on the inside edge with the door open.
remove the back and clean.0 -
Don’t panic…as you say the smoke will just be the spilt food burning on the heating element.
Just remove the oven liners to gain access to the fan & heating element then you can clean up the spillage.
It tells you on page 46 of the instructions how to remove the oven liners.
(The instructions are downloadable from the link you posted above)0 -
