Bailiff threat

Hi
I am successfully managing my debts with a comfortable dmp with the CCCs however I have had a visit today from a bailiff over an unpaid parking which is now in excess of £300.
I have moved address and had completely forgotten about it and did not get the letters/reminders.
Can I add this debt to my dmp or do they have the power regardless to seize my car. I have left the flat I was renting to save money and now stay between my parents house and my boyfriends house so I don't technically have any property they could seize instead.
I will try to arrange a re-payment plan but not sure how they will respond. Is there anything else I can do?
Laura

no-one on here is certain to help you, you need specialist advice such as bailiffeadviceonline.co.uk. She charges £10.00 but is the most knowledgeble person on this there is. Beest of luck.
This applies to Council tickets only.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
It is highly unlikely that it was a bailiff. It may have been a debt collector. Can you post who exactly visited? You usually can ignore them. Any affect on your credit rating will be exactly the same as the DMP anyway so ignoring them won't make it worse.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I would be very careful with such advise. If the PCN is a local authority issued one then it is most likely it was a bailiff."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Yes, need to establish if this is a real PCN or a PPC invoice.**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. If any Parking Pirates have a problem with my post then contact me for my solicitors address.*****0

Who issued the ticket to you ?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
