Right, some scores
These are going Sunday to Saturday, because I'm about to put my headphones back on and do some work for Mr RPC.
Large Agency: £62.00 (should have been about £30 more but a job got cancelled)
Small Agency: £25.50
NEL: £42.50
Mr RPC: £222.40
Total: £352.40
Made it!! I knew I'd been busy for Mr RPC this week, I hadn't realised quite HOW busy! eBay sales, excluding postage, were £169.73 for the week, so I'm finishing January on a good note. I'll work out my monthly income properly tomorrow.0 -
January has been looking very healthy for you - good going!
Such a pain re the keys, I have my fingers crossed that they get their b@cksides into gear sooner and you can get cracking. I thought you'd be done and dusted by now.
Are you growing anything this year?Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)
Loan 1 £1787
Loan 2 £1683
Total £8601 Was £393020 -
I will be, if the wind dies down enough for me to get into the vegetable patch! We're going to put 'pick your own' beds down at the holiday cottage as well - thought it would be a nice touch for guests to be able to pick fresh salad, strawberries, broad beans etc.etc. if they wanted
Right, January income scores on the doors!
Big agency: £234.40
Small agency: 153.00
NEL: £105.50
Mr RPC: £589.80
Journalist #2: £39.33
Typing total: £1,122.03
eBay sales (not including postage charged): £519.98
Less 25% for fees etc.: (£129.99)
eBay total: £389.99
Grand total: £1,512.02
Not bad, but that's before tax and NI and the eBay total is really an estimation (I'm not taking stock costs off because I'm liquidating; the actual accounting profit will be much, much lower).0 -
Great going on the figures. Don't work yourself too hard
I was actually thinking about you last night as we're having a few redundancies at work (they couldn't time it any worse) and what you do etc etc. I'm not worrying, just keeping my options open.
I love the idea of the PYO for the guest house, is it close enough for you to go to frequently to look after then when it's quiet?Debt - CCV £3792

Fingers crossed, DF2012 - I'm sure you're too vital to them for them to even consider it
Yes, the house is about 300 metres up the road, and if I've got sheep in those fields I'll be up twice a day anyway, so it would work quite well.
Major scare this afternoon when both the house and the office broadband went offline - had to ring Mr RPC and explain that I couldn't do the urgent file amendments he'd just asked me to make, but fortunately he'd just had an email from his service provider explaining about the outages (they're not on BT at his office block, so it was still working) and was fine about it. Even more fortunately I had a load of transcription for NEL downloaded onto my laptop so was able to keep doing something to earn money during the downtime0 -
Oh, and for anyone interested - a little bit of film of the girls at supper time a couple of days ago
They've been doing a great job pulling out all the old dock plants on their fleeces! They were chuffed to see me this morning, we hit close to 80mph here last night, I think (the house was shaking), but amazingly the only damage was a slight crack to one of the bird feeders!

Glad you're ok given the crazy weather that you've had. It's been bad here but nothing like that.
That's brilliant re how close the house is, I didn't realise. Saves on fuel too. I will view the video later when not restricted by work
Glad to hear you could keep earning those pennies despite the BB being down.
We've just had ours installed last week and I'm not tearing my hair out, I'm really pleased it's quicker than I suspected but supposedly we're getting 3, 4MB download at a push. I think our old provider who claimed to be super fast, was not as fast as they claimed!Debt - CCV £3792

I have had an evening off
Okay, only 3.5 hours because I didn't stop work until 6, and I had to iron a couple of shirts for Mr Minx otherwise he'd have been going to work topless in the morning, but I've not done any typing this evening, despite having loads to do, and I feel much more relaxed, so it was the right decision
Up to £129 this month for Mr RPC already and we're only on day 3!
I have been brave and sorted out the January YNAB budget. All square now and I even managed to start February with a £160 buffer, though the mortgage offset account has taken a bit of a hit where I had to borrow cash for the tax bill. Will update my signature after the mortgage payment goes out on Friday.0 -
