I was referring to Thai Airways A380s and changes/uncertainties with regard to their route deployment in Winter 2012/13.

    What's this about pls?
  • You flown with Air China before?

Nope...but I really wanted to see Beijing airport and see another European country...did initially consider dep Madrid and Arr Milan to do European tiour as well....but decided Philippines was better of the beaten track.

Thai airways will start getting their A380 aircraft soon and they go into service at the end of october 2012 for the winter season, but not to LHR.

I'm guessing that there could be changes for Summer 2013 with which aircraft they fly to LHR and they could be waiting before they release the cheaper seats for general sale.

I wonder if Thai are planning on providing - ahem - "massage" services upstairs?

We have just booked to Bangkok via Singapore with Air France. My husband spent hours and hours and hours looking for the best option.

And he came up with one that adds 3 hours in a plane plus transit time. Maybe the most MSE option but not the best one IMO.

I believe LHR is third on the list for A380 destinations. Their third A380 is due for delivery in early 2013 so should be in service by May.
