I posted this in the credit card freebie thread but got no takers, so I'll try my luck with a new thread.

Is the BMI credit card offer still working, and will it allow me to book a return flight to Malaga in the school holidays with the 20,000 points?

I assume I still have to pay taxes, but at the moment a flight is showing at around the £200 mark.

Ideally, I'd want to apply for 5 cards (one for each of my travelling party) and get free flights for them all.

Is there a flaw in my plan?!

20k miles would be required for bmi flights to spain. and yes you'd need to pay the taxes.

As long as no-one in your party has adverse credit they could apply for the card.

The one possible issue, is the airlines only have a certain number of seats available on each flight that can be used by redeeming points. It may be the time you wish to travel the allocation for point redemption has already been sold..
