what investment broker?

Hi,
I am iin the process of selling my shares to buy an annuity, i've enquired and i cannot keep my account unless i leave a substantial amount in there, i will not be able to open another in the future as i'm a non European resident,

Can anyone recommend a good on line broker with good research facilities etc.
