05 Fiesta Brake Pedal fault?
I seem to have an intermittent fault on my brake pedal; when i go to brake the pedal barely travels and hits a hard stop, with a slight juddering feeling at times (ABS kicking in?). I *think* it may be related to the clutch pedal as I've noiced that I've crept into resting my left foot on the clutch at times and it seems to happen if I have light pressure on the clutch and then go to brake. Any thoughts?
nb this thread on another site sounds like the same problem, although the clutch pedal isn't mentioned (and the guy didn't come back after posting it seems)

Sounds to me as if the servo isnt working , maybe having a sticky valve in the vacumn pipe off the engine if you get in the car press the brake pedal a few times without the engine running it should be pretty hard then keeping the pressure on the pedal start the engine the pedal should creep down abit if it doesnt the servo isnt working, however i would say a car with no servo the pedal does go rock hard and you can hardly stop the thing if its inytermittant i would say its the valve in the vacumn pipe to the servo sticking0

Checked the brake fluid? Had any work done on it recently?
Air locks in the ABS units can cause many problems. Sometimes they say its almost impossible to bleed all the air out.
That bit doesnt make sense as its empty when its fitted so, There must be a way.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
