ebay - door bell gone faulty on month 6

Hi ya

I ordered a door bell from ebay in jan but now its started to go tempremental the bit that gets pressed to setthe bell off (its wireless) ive changed the batteries in both but only rings on every 10/15 presses - ive emailed the business seller twice but no response. paid by paypal
what can i do?

There is nothing you can do via ebay or ebay as you are out of time. If it cost a lot then you have the option of small claims, but try phoning seller first.

You think a doorbell sold in the UK that doesn't cope with rain is acceptable?

cut your lesses, get another from the pound shop / B&Q etc..

it cost £5 something but only 6 months ago i replaced my old one and now have to get another one money isnt the point but shouldnt something last at least a year - rain doesnt get into it aswe have a covering over our door.

To be honest I wouldn't expect a 5 quid door bell to last long at all. We've purchased a couple in the past and they just aren't durable enough, a slight bit heavy handed with them soon sees them in more than one piece.
