HSBC redress

Hi,
I received an offer from HSBC today for PPI on a credit card. The timescale the offer is from is march 2005 to 2009. However, through sheer luck, I've managed to find about 5 statements, the earliest one dating back to 1998.
Once I send these off to HSBC, will I received a revised offer from 1998 to 2005 based on some sort of average figure?

Only the Bank can answer this one. Certainly, one statement from !998 won't sway them into paying you for every month since then.0
