Strapless Bras Help

I am trying to find a strapless bra that stays up, I have wasted a fortune in the past and just cant find anything that works.

There seem to be good reviews for the Wonderbra ultimate strapless one but I dont want waste any more money on something that wont work. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I take it you get yourself properly fitted for a strapless bra? Its probably not tight enough to hold you up, or too small in the cup, or both.

There's no bra in the world i could recommend, its just a case of trying them on to see what works. Make sure you jump about and bend over in them to see if they work for you.

Yes, I have had a proper fitting and know my size, I have tried some on in the shop that seem OK, but fail after half an hour, and feel uncomfortable or start slipping

I have the wonderbra one and it does what it says on the tin. I am a 34FF :( and needed the bra for a special function that I was going to. It wasn't the most comfortable contraption but that is down to my size more than the bra.

It certainly stayed up all evening with no tugging to keep it in place. If it can stay up for me then I imagine it will stay up for most people. I did go and get fitted for it though as there is something strange about how you get sized for it. I cant remember whether they advise going a cup size up and the back size down or vice versa but it is worth getting fitted imo.

Sadly iv given up on finding a strapless bra for a 30G, and instead use clear straps.

I could do with some help on this to, I have an old strapless from LA Senza but I've since lost a lot of weight and it's 2 back sizes too big now. I tried the wonderbra one on but couldn't get one to fit properly, also tried one from Debenhams Gorgeous range, Boux avenue (which fitted really well actually) and a fantasie one and all of them seem to point my boobs in the direction of my armpits! I went back to LA Senza to see if I could find the same one again but it hasn't half changed in the past few years! All the bras seemed to be very small and dayglo colours! So my search continues!

it really depends on your shape & size - one brand will not work for everyone. You are always going to have more luck in finding a strapless bra for a B or C cup than an F or G!
Get yourself to a PROPER lingerie shop - NOT M&S! and get fitted for one!
  • I have a panache strapless bra, for years I have been waiting for someone to make bigger than a G cup strapless bra! I'm a 32H and mine fits pretty well, I must admit though I relish the end of the night when i can take it off and relax!!

The Wonderbra one is FANTASTIC! This is the one where on the packaging it says it's like hands lifting you up. It's true! It really is worth the money. There's been a sale on at Debenhams lately and it was either half price or had a good amount off - get yourself down there! :-)

Another vote here for the Wonderbra! You might need to go up a back size and down a cup size as it's quite tight. I'm a 28FF and wear a 30F. It's as comfortable as a bra with straps as there's no wires to dig in, just plastic "fingers" to hold you in place.

I've tried all the Panache etc. ones that come in my size but they just dug in and pulled my boobs down, making them look saggy.

I have this bra also and its brilliant. I'm a 36b and it gives me a brilliant cleavage and the bra plays in place. It really is like 2 general holding you.
