I'm trying to BUY a policy from LV Insurance and want some clarification on their non-claims bonus T&C's (in writing-not over the phone). After sending over ten emails via their web form and not recieving a reply, its looking like I may stick with Aviva.
Does anyone have a direct email for LV ?

No I don't. The last time I believed what an insurance company told me over the phone they were A) Incorrect and
It cost me £8500.
I now work to a simple principle; get everything in writing or use another provider. Over the past Ten years it has properly cost me about four hours in my personal time and saved untold cost and misery from being mis-informed. After all, consumer support forums like this mainly came into existence on the message of 'always get it in writing'. However, its good to see you have trust in the financial and insurance sector. In contrast, and based on current performance of the industry, I'll stick with my policy of assuming they're expert at hidden T&C's with an armoury of get-out clauses when it comes to any possible claim I may make on a £75k new Merc.

Thats why insurers record calls and the FOS will ensure that if the insurer has told you A that they do A0

LV= have their policy documents for you to review on their website BEFORE you buy
I have found the following is this any use?
Section 11 No claim discountIf you have a no claim discount (NCD), we’ll give you a discount in line with our
NCD scale which is current at the time of acceptance. The discount won’t apply
to our administration costs or to any additional options you’ve chosen.
Your NCD will not be affected if we only pay for:n emergency treatment charges (Section 3);n damage to the windscreen or window glass (Section 5);n a claim under Road Rescue; orn a claim under Legal Expenses (Section 14)
You can’t transfer your NCD to anyone else. If more than one car is insured,
the NCD is earned separately for each car in the policyholders name. A named
driver doesn’t earn their own NCD.
If a claim is still outstanding at the renewal date, we may issue a renewal
quotation with the NCD reduced. Once the claim has been settled, found to be
not your fault and all outstanding monies repaid, your NCD will be restored and
we’ll refund any extra premium you may have paid. However, whilst your NCD will
be restored, your premium may still increase following a claim.
If a claim is made against your policy and your NCD isn’t guaranteed, we may
reduce your NCD.Guaranteed NCDIf you are eligible, and pay the required extra premium, you may choose toadvised of a claim, we may issue a revised quote and remove the option.
guarantee your NCD. If chosen, this will be shown on your schedule.
If your NCD is shown as guaranteed on your schedule, it will not be reduced
irrespective of the number of claims made. However, your premium may still
increase following a claim.
If we’ve offered the option to guarantee your NCD and we’re then subsequently

They also misplace the recordings even with a Country Court judge insists they are made available.

Thanks for looking, I appreciate that. I have read that along with all their other blurp. But it does not address the specific question I have.
I have to take a policy out by midday today regardless, rather than waste anymore of my time I have taken one out with Aviva.0 -
In most cases if insurers admit they've lost recordings the FOS rules against the insurer because of that error alone.
County Court is a different matter because they look at "the balance of probability"0 -
