Anyone had any recent experience of selling (ideally) or buying with this large national estate agent.
I know they come under various independant names but has anyone had experience of Brown & Merry MK?)

We bought through them a few years ago. We had trouble getting to see the HIP, as they wouldn't send us a copy at all. Other than that, we found the staff friendly and helpful. When we saw our house, we commented to the chap showing us around that the price was temptingly close to the stamp duty threshold, and he said 'I will pass on any offer you make. If you offer 50p I will still pass it on, but I very much suspect it'll be refused!'
It's all down to the staff though, so your local office may be completely different to ours.
It was a fairly quick sale. About 3 months start to finish, which from my experience is quite reasonable.0
