It depends on whom you bank with and what there policy is about paying money into another account at the weekend is.
I know with Halifax and Bank Of Scotland if a SO is going out a a weekend they wont process it until the next working day. Which in most cases would be a Monday, and sometimes it wont show in the persons account until the day after its processed.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
IMO standing orders cannot be paid early - so the next working day after the 30th will be Monday.0

a standing order will go out on the day you tell it to. it will not go early. you could change the date to a few days earlier to avoid this situation0 -
The transaction will be dated for Monday - it's always the next working day if it falls at a weekend or bank holiday.
Depending on who you bank with, it may show up overnight Friday/Saturday, on Sunday afternoon, or overnight Sunday/Monday.0 -
In this case the standing order is paid IN to the account not taken out.iluvsaving wrote: »a standing order will go out on the day you tell it to. it will not go early. you could change the date to a few days earlier to avoid this situation
The OP has no control over the date.0
