In Honiton there was a guy giving them out at the entrance. I got one scanned and got a till spit with the code was the same as others have already said. However, when I bought £10.72 worth of diy goods and tried to use the code, it was refused. None of the list of reasons why it could have been refused made sense in this case, so I emailed them asking the reason. I don't have a clubcard, so I guess this is probably what the problem is.

Yep, I can confirm I also got the code above as well :)

Only picked up one, as it's not likely I'll shopping there that often. (Tesco direct that is, not instore! LOL)

I had a quick look through and thought they were abit pricey on some things, maybe it is the voucher user in me but whereas I planned to get a few things for the new extension from the catalogue, I find that Argos is more competitively priced.

  • I'm interested in buying something at £7.99, then will add 3 packs of batteries for £3 which is then at the total I need for the £5 off so effectively getting free delivery.

Me too. Some of the toys are priced ok, but I tend to look online as I'm after a garden furniture set, they've got 25% off online, so this isn't in the book. They've done it with some other stuff too. So for people who are going to order it's worth checking the online price first. Especially if going to order instore or on phone.
